This is a userbar I made for my "insen", LadyParadigm.
We start in Photoshop.
1. Imagine having done two userbars with different designs.
2. Combine the two by pasting the first on top of the second image.
3. Now, click the "Edit in Imageready" button. (In Photoshop CS, If you're using another version of Photoshop, I suggest saving the file into a .psd first. Then, open it in Imageready)
We're now in Imageready
4. After that, you will see the Animation Window. Click on the Duplicate current frame button. The one beside the Delete button which is the Trashcan icon. Click on duplicate five times and create 5 frames.
ANIMATION
5. Click on Layer 2 and Select frame 2, then change the Opacity to 80%
Select frame 3 then change the Opacity to 60%
and so on.. (Frame 4 = 40% and frame 5 = 20%)
6. As you've noticed, in the 6th frame, the Opacity would be 0. Now,
create 4 more frames and reverse the process.
frame 8 = 40% etc.
SETTING THE DELAY TIME
Now, right-click on the small down arrow at the bottom of the first frame and click on Other...
This window will pop out:
Set the delay to 3 seconds.
7. Select frame 6, and set the delay to 3 seconds too.
8. Now, select frames 2,3,4,5 and 7,8,9,10 (ctrl+click on frame)
9. Save the file as Optimized.
There you go.
